Feb. 3, 2010 by Gary Ipiotis, New Mexico
Absolutely. If your audiobooks come in MP3 format, the Flatflash Duo will play it.

How can I organize my songs in folders on the Flatflash MP3 Player? In what order will the songs be played? What happens at the end of the playlist?
Nov. 12, 2009 by Flatflash Group
You can arrange your songs in folders according to artists, albums or any other grouping method that you wish. You can even create hierarchies (folder within folder). The Flatflash MP3 player will play the songs in each folder before continuing to the next folder. The playing order of the songs is according to the date & time of upload (within each folder and between the folders themselves). Once the the Flatflash MP3 Player reaches the end of the playlist, it will continue playing from the beginning, in a continuous loop.

How can I tell how much battery life I have left? How do I recharge the battery?
Nov. 12, 2009 by Flatflash Group
When you battery is fully charged, both lights will be lit. Currently there is no battery level indicator. The Flatflash MP3 player will flash red once the battery hits low power. Recharging your Flatflash MP3 player is quick and easy - plug your device into any USB port to recharge - 45 minutes will charge your battery to 80% capacity and less than 90 minutes for a full charge.

How do I play music from iTunes?
Nov. 12, 2009
Music purchased directly from iTunes is copyrighted material and may not be transferable to your Flatflash player. If you loaded music to your iTunes from CDs, you may load those on to your Flatflash player if they are in mp3 format. If they are not in mp3 format, your itunes has a function to convert the mp4 files into mp3 files. Navigate to your iTunes folder on your hard drive. Locate the MP3 files you'd like to transfer over to your Flatflash MP3 player. Remember, Flatflash devices are USB jump drives so file transfer is exactly like transferring files with any other USB storage device. The Flatflash Duo/Trio will play the mp3 files on the device.

How durable is the Flatflash MP3 Player?
Nov. 12, 2009 by Flatflash Group
Both the device and its adapter are very durable: they are waterproof and heat tolerant. They'll survive your washing machine treatment or the scorching summer sun on your car dashboard.

I have connected the USB-to-audio adapter to the device and have my headphones plugged in but I can't hear anything or the sound is distorted. Why?
Nov. 12, 2009 by Flatflash Group
When connecting the adapter on the USB connector, you should connect them firmly together. You'll know the adapter is seated properly when it covers the card surface a little bit (1-2 mm). You should then check that your volume level is set properly - try to lower/higher the volume level by pressing the (-)/(+) buttons on the Flatflash MP3 Player. Otherwise, the mp3 file may be corrupt - try another known good mp3 file to play.

I paused my Flatflash MP3 Player and totally forgot about it. Will it shut off automatically? If so, what is the timeout?
Nov. 12, 2009 by Flatflash Group
The Flatflash MP3 Player has a 10 second timeout that occurs when the pause button is pressed (this helps to maintain battery life). This is also how you turn off your Flatflash MP3 player - just hit pause and wait 10 seconds for it to automatically shut off. Upon restart, it will continue from the same place where you paused it.

Is there any warranty for the adapter?
Nov. 12, 2009 by Flatflash Group
Sure! Flatflash supplies a one-year warranty to all the components in your Flatflash MP3 box: the Flatflash MP3 Player, the earphones and the adapter. We will replace your device free of charge (just pay S+H).

What do the different lights on the Flatflash MP3 Player mean?
Nov. 12, 2009 by Flatflash Group
There are 2 colors and 2 states. Here is what they represent: Solid Red – means the Flatflash MP3 is plugged into a computer and that the device is being charged. Blinking Red - When plugged into your computer, indicates file transfer in progress. When in play mode, indicates the battery is too low and the player will shut itself approximately 10 seconds afterwards. This also is lit when adjusting the volume level up or down. Blue/Green – indicates the Flatflash MP3 Player is working. A slow blink indicates it is playing and a fast blinking indicates a paused state.

What is the Reset button used for?
Nov. 12, 2009 by Flatflash Group
The reset button is used for troubleshooting the Flatflash MP3 player and will turn the device off. No file will be deleted from the Flatflash MP3 Player.

What is the RFID for on the Flatflash Trio and what does it mean?
May. 18, 2010
RFID is otherwise known as Radio Frequency Identification. It is being used everyday for countless applications, mostly for the purpose of WIRELESS point of sale transactions and/or personal identification. You can track the movement and sale of any product and/or the person carrying it. E.g. all new US Passports come with an RFID chip embedded inside. New debit cards have "Blink" or "PayPass" where you just tap to pay for items rather than swipe your card in NYC taxis and participating retail locations. The possibilities with RFID are really endless!

We believe RFID will very much be a part of our daily lives in the near future. You can read much more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio-frequency_identification
